Initia Classic v2 is MomDaughts' entry IPL hair remover for use at home, with 5 intensity levels, auto and manual flash, and up to 999,999 flashes: enough for hundreds of full-body sessions, more than one person needs.
- 5 levels, 2 flash modes: one flash per press for small areas, or auto flash as you glide over legs and arms.
- Skin-colour check: it will not flash on skin tones it is not designed for. You choose your level from the skin chart.
- Quick sessions: about 1 minute for underarms and 15 minutes for both legs.
- Who it suits: fair to brown skin with black, brown or light-brown hair. Not for black skin, or white, grey, red or blonde hair.

How to use Classic v2

Shave
Shave the area. Skin must be clean and dry, with no cream, oil or deodorant.

Glasses on
Put on the protective glasses before you switch on.

Plug in and hold the power button for 3 seconds. You will hear the fan.

Set your level
Choose the level the skin chart gives for your skin.

Flash
Hold the window flat on the skin and press to flash, or use auto flash on legs and arms.

Move along
Glide to the next spot. Do not flash the same spot twice within 10 seconds.

Switch off and clean
Switch off, unplug and wipe the window with a dry cloth.

Choose a small patch on your leg and set level 1.

Most people feel slight warmth with each flash. Darker or thicker skin may feel it more, and it stops when the session ends. Start at the level the chart gives for your skin, go up slowly, and use an ice pack if the skin is red afterwards.
Treated hairs fall out by themselves over about two weeks, and regrowth comes back slower and finer with each round of sessions. Follow the schedule: twice a week for weeks 1–2, weekly for weeks 3–4, every 2 weeks for weeks 5–8, then every 1–3 months. IPL gives long-term hair reduction, not permanent removal, and results vary.
It suits fair to brown skin with black, brown or light-brown hair. On dark brown skin use only the lowest levels, with care. It is not for black skin, or for white, grey, red or blonde hair. Do the 48-hour skin test on your leg first.
A full-body session uses about two thousand flashes, so 999,999 flashes cover hundreds of sessions. With the maintenance schedule, that is more than one person needs.
Classic v2 is part of the program.
